This notice explains how Mathew Harwich uses information submitted through the trumpet lesson inquiry form or sent directly to the studio by email. It applies to this local-lessons website and not to separately operated third-party services.

Information the inquiry form collects

The form asks for the adult contact’s name, email address, phone number, role, city, general availability, and referral source. It also asks for a student’s first name, broad grade range, playing experience, preferred lesson format, and lesson goals. Please do not submit a child’s email address, phone number, birth date, home address, school details, or other unnecessary identity information.

How the information is used

Inquiry information is used to respond, evaluate whether lessons may be a fit, arrange an assessment, and manage lesson follow-up. It is not sold or used to add you to a marketing list.

Parents, guardians, and minors

A parent or legal guardian should submit the inquiry and manage scheduling for anyone under 18. This website is directed to adults making lesson arrangements, not to children providing their own contact details.

Security and service providers

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to reduce automated form abuse. The inquiry is processed by the studio’s Cloudflare-hosted API and delivered through an email service provider so Mathew can respond. Those providers process limited technical or contact information as needed to provide their services.

Analytics and attribution

This site uses Google Analytics to record limited, non-personal activity such as page views, a successful lesson inquiry, a booking-link click, or a phone-link click. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar device identifiers to provide aggregate reports. Enhanced Measurement, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. The site does not intentionally send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, student details, full referrer URLs, or unapproved URL parameters to analytics. The site may save first-touch campaign information in your browser—such as the landing page, referring page, and UTM campaign labels—and include those labels with an inquiry. This helps identify which local outreach is useful. You can clear this browser storage through your browser settings.

Storage and retention

The website does not store leads in a site database. Inquiry details are delivered to Mathew by email and may be copied manually to a restricted studio tracking sheet. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for lesson follow-up, studio administration, and applicable recordkeeping.

Your choices

You may ask to correct or delete your inquiry information by contacting Mathew. Some information may need to be retained when required for legitimate administrative or legal reasons.
